Hebrew Word of the Day expanded
In recent days our HebrewWordADay account on Twitter has received a significant increase in followers. The purpose of the account is to provide the growing community of regular Twitter users with the opportunity to learn Hebrew words in a simple manner. While it is quick and sufficient to see just the word in English, transliterated and in Hebrew, it’s even better to understand how to use it, pronounce it and see it in a sentence!
Beginning next week we will be introducing a series on this blog titled Hebrew Word of the Week. At the beginning of each week we will post an entry based on one the words featured on HebrewWordADay from the previous week. Here’s the thing. As much as we love selecting whatever word we feel like expanding on, Twitter and this blog are for you. We want YOU to tell us what word should be featured each week!
Starting this Friday, tweet us which word from this week you want us to expand on and based on the most popular request, that will be the Hebrew Word of the Week.
Happy Holidays!

Thank you so much for making this change. I appreciate it very much! As a member in a blended Christian/Jewish family and finding out a couple of years ago that the history of my family way back were Sephardic Jew in Portugal this will be a nice way to learn.
